CNC bending is an important process for sheet metal processing. After a few knives, you can bend the sheet metal into various shapes and take a look at the machining process of CNC bending.

On the right side of Figure 3, it is necessary to use a sharp knife to avoid the position, but also note that because the tip of the sharp knife is very sharp, its strength is relatively poor, so it can not be used for the bending of thick plates, generally 1.5mm The above plate thickness does not use sharp knives, but in the process arrangement, think again, for example, arrange the rivet nut process after bending, etc., see Figure 5.

There are also cases where when a small machete cannot be avoided, a large machete is used to avoid the position, as shown in Figure 6.

But sometimes there are big scimitars that can't avoid the position, so you need to increase the process: first press a stamp on the bend line, as shown in Figure 7; for better bending, this bend can be folded first Angle, avoid touching the knife, and then press the edge to 90 degrees, as shown in Figure 8; and in general, the imprint process can be applied to the bend can not be completed at one time, so that when the second bend, the bend line can be better According to the original bending and forming, otherwise it will be easy to appear secondary bending and cause bending deviation, or the bending angle is not well controlled.

Therefore, such problems should also be considered in the design process. In the case of meeting the requirements, the use of such a process should be avoided as much as possible, because there is no direct bending effect, and the size and angle may be deviated.


The bending machine can also be used to press the workpiece to the dead side. The workpiece is first bent to 30 degrees, and then the workpiece is crushed by a flat knife. However, the pressing dead edge which can be completed by a common punching machine is not arranged to the bending machine as much as possible because of the punching pressure. The effect of the dead side is relatively better.


In addition to the interference between the workpiece and the bending knife during the bending process, when the size of the workpiece is relatively large, it may interfere with the bending machine when bending.


When we arrange the process, we often have to consider whether it is good to bend, whether it can be bent, because bending is a very important process, whether the bending is good or not directly affects the guarantee of bending quality, and many The quality problems that arise at the time are due to the fact that the bending dimensions are not well controlled, so the design of the process should also pay special attention to the problem of bending, which is related to the stability of the quality of the product during mass production.


For different plate thicknesses, its bending size is limited, not too small, generally more related to the lower die. The general principle is: the lower die selects a sipe with a thickness of 6 times, so that the bending coefficient Most consistent with the experience value. The classification of the general sipe is divided according to the outer width of the sipe, as shown in Figure 9, which are slots 6 and 10.

However, when a small enough sipe is used for bending, the indentation is easy to occur. Generally, the indentation below the No. 6 groove is obvious, so when the surface of the workpiece is not treated, when the bending edge is relatively small, there is a significant indentation. First, it affects the appearance, and secondly it is easy to rust, so pay attention to it when designing. In the actual bending process, various problems will be encountered. In many cases, the influence of bending on other processes will be considered. In many cases, specific problems will be analyzed and the process will be properly arranged.
